Guess what came in the mail today..
A pleasant suprise..my replacement rear Joint Shaft (eh, the dogbone), came today. I suggest anyone currently running an X-Mod without a set of these to go order them asap. Rather than the stock plastic one I had broken, this one is made of metal, and seems to sit alot better and keeps the wheel more aligned than the plastic one ever did. I'll never worry about breaking that one, infact, I plan on heading back up to RS this weekend and ordering another one for the other side. It pretty much made my day to get my Skyline back up and running again ^_^

Yup, I'm pretty sure I have one of the supposedly crappy first run Skylines everyone seems to be complaining about, Thats really the only problem I've run into so far, everything else is still working fine. I have a feeling that the first batch of X-Mods were rushed onto shelves too early, thus, things break, ever play a video game that was rushed onto the market? Full of glitches, flaws, and might not even work at all? Think of that, but with X-Mods in place of it. Sooner or later something comes out to allow you to fix the problem, and for the company to get more of your money. Ahh..Capitalism. Anyway..yeah, sounds like you were a lucky one.

Go for it..mine was practically a steal (Got it for free..after stretching the truth a little.) It seems worth it, and arrived quick enough. Then again, anything that'll keep you from breaking something else on your crappy 50 dollar money pit seems worth it when you think about it.

If you look at the top of the XMODS forum it says something about CJ and being updated November 13th...click on that and that shows all of the products and their numbers

Yup..the dogbone is what you thread the wheel through and place the lugnut onto. And yes, I'm sure we're all very thankful for the ability to order replacement parts. Otherwise we'd all be screwed. Shipping seems to vary depending upon where you live, I don't live too far away from Fort Worth, so it got here pretty quickly. I ordered Saturday, and it got here today. Pricing, it would've been 2.49 (that seemed to have been a popular number around the factory), but mine cost 0.00, and anything you order probably would too if they ask if it broke while in performance (as long as you say "Yes."). Although that may only work if you show them the broken piece and whatnot..
