Thumbs up Here is a lighting idea

Ok i was thinking. Instead of wireing new lights for under body lights why not try fiber optic plastic to take the light from the Head lights.
I havent tryed this and it may be dificult but Worth it if it works. Let me know how it goes if you try it.
If I do decide to try it I will post my Results.

Or why dont you just splice the head lights and then take the new pair and put that color coated stuff over the leds and you have a colored light which you could make underglow from

Lightbulb

The point was to save power by not adding lights. I think I get the concept of wireing up more lights. But im looking for a better way.

I'm not sure that it would work for a full underbody type underglow, but you could definetly use CLEAR epoxy for front/rear under glows (white front, red rear obviously). I have one of the Bell-brand bike racks on my shoddy pedal-bike and I drilled some holes in the back, used two blue LED's and clear epoxy, and the whole back of the rack lights up. You would make it look similar to the picture below, and paint the vertical 'bars' of the epoxy silver, maybe paint the inside of the bumper silver BEFORE epoxy, and the top of the horizontal bar of the epoxy silver (for reflective purposes to put as much light on the ground as possible, rather than inside the car). Here's a crude bitmap pic of what the inside of the car would look like:
