Thumbs down What is wrong with my Zip?

I just got a ZZ SE today, maybe half an hour ago, and I put it together right, but it just won't charge! I've tried maybe twenty times so far, the car on and everything, but the light just turns greenish-orange. What do you think could be wrong?

you need to turn the ZZSE's power switch to ON on the car before it will charge. The controller needs to see that it's a real ZZSE and send the channel number to the car before it will charge. it should blink for 10 seconds when you first put it on the charger, then it should start charging, I believe it's a solid red light till it's done charging.

Make sure the chassis is turned on and if the lights are plugged in (my SE doesnt charge unless the lights are plugged in, weird). Also make sure the channel is set onto channel 1 when you are going to charge. If you still have problems then just return it.

Yep, have it on and wait for the blinking to stop for 10 secs, then try again if the light turns amber.

Thanks, I always turn on the power, though. I haven't tried the channel 1 thing yet, but I will.

GOODY!

I actually took it back on Tuesday, and got a brand new, shiny RX-7 Enfini. It works awesome, though I do remember a thread about the turning. It is snappy to the right and loose to the left.
