the only resion you see alot of problems with the skylines is cos every one has one. my bro has a skyline and has had no problems with it. on another note i had a problem with my supra and had to exchange it cos when i put the metal heatsink in my car there was extra solder on the battery pack and it shorted and fried my electronics. point is all of these things might have a problem no matter what one you get.

I have 3 Skylines, all bought at different times, and I have yet to have any problems. I will agree that the reason you hear more problems with them is because there seem to be more out there, and that increases the odds.

They only real difference between models is the wheelbase. My skyline died-after hitting a chair at full speed. My supra has hit many a wall, but lives. Whether skylines are "bad" somehow has yet to be fully determined.
