ok their are 3 parts of red plastic and 4 parts of white plastic . the 1st red part is the side with the gear teeth on it so place it teeth side down on the desk or what ever is flat. next Place one of the small white gears with the teeth up inside the red part . next you will find the middle part of red plastic its a round part with 3 triangle looking holes it in it one side is ver flat place ontop of the white gear you just put inside the 1st red part. next take the 3 small white gears and place them inside the triagle holes they can only fit 1 way. now you should only have 3 parts the 1 part you just assembled and 1 white gear and 1 red part place the white gear inside the 2nd red part kinda looks like a cap now take that and put it into 1 sold red gear and replace the 3 screws and you have your rear defrental gear

That ball diff is fairly simple to reassemble.
start with the diff gear piece facing down, the 3 screw posts on it facing up.
find 1 of the small plastic washers with the D hole in the center, place 1 steel washer on this piece. The steel washer will fit only one side.
put the small plastic washer along with the steel washer into the gear side of diff, steel washer facing up.
find the center red/plastic piece and carefully lower it over the gear side of the diff.it fits tight around the 3 screw posts.
now locate the little ball bearings and carefully drop them into the 5 holes.a little bit of AWD grease on the end of a small screwdriver or hobby knife helps to pick and place these.
next locate the other small plastic D washer and steel washer and put them down on the center diff ring that has the 5 steel bearings, steel washer facing down.
lastly find the back cover (has the 3 screw holes) and place it over the assembly.it can only fit 1 way.
you have to work the shafts in a bit since the plastic washers dont line up exactly and dont forget the thin steel pin that goes into both shafts to help keep the shafts aligned in the diff.
I hope this helps.
