zip zap question
I recently bought 2 zipzaps, one is 27 mhz, the other 49 mhz, I noticed the 27 mhz car has only about 2 to 3 feet of range then i lose control. So when i got the 49 mhz car i tried it and i didnt lose control at all for about 10 feet. I thought maybe the battery was dead in the controller so i switched batteries, recharged it and still the same, does anyone else have this problem, i want to find out if this is normal before i go to Radio Shack to return/exchange it. Thanks

Welcome to the community Nate,
Unfortunately, poor range is a common problem. You could try taking it back, but chances are you're going to get another one with the same bum range.
The Antenna mod is the best bet for getting better range.

Thats weird, my range out of the box on a 27 was about 10 feet, I put a better atenna on the car and a 32" terlescoping atenna on the controller and now my range is over 20 feet!!!
