Heh I just found this out
My dad has a Duratraxx Piranha peak charger, and we decided to try using it to charge up my MicroSizer. Much to our surprise, we found out the controller doesn't charge half the full potential of the battery... Using the Piranha to charge 50 mAh with a 0.2 A current it took about 20 minutes to fully charge, and my little Skyline ran for 10 minutes (full-time turbo 10 minutes
). I think the controller charger gives the car too quick a charge, and probably at a higher current. This also leads to the point that the battery's life will be shortened by using the controller to charge it up.
This has probably been mentioned before, but I just wanted to share our discovery with other people who might be interested
