xmods n00b
Hey,
Fairly new to xmods....acctually VERY new to them physically but ive know bout em for a lil. But i got my first rsx tonight and i was excited and i also got lights,awd, and stage 2 motors. Yet when i installed a drag motor and the awd my car barly moves.... i seriously think something is wrong but it just doesnt click in my head what could be wrong...i mean there are no spaces or anything in the gears...im using the proper gears shown and everything it just that.....its moves REALLY slow

Dead batteries perhaps? Alkalines only last about 15 minutes or so.

its probably the batteries, on my friends car we installed the drag motor and threw some alkalines in there and it wouldnt go. we put the rechargebles in when they finished charging and if took off

the bearings and awd kit and al lthe gears and driveshafts and stuff, basically whatever moves will break in over time and will run a lil smoother by then

once assembled everything should rotate smoothly - i havent tried it yet but most rc's should roll easily if you remove the motor - you want to check for binding as it will burn up motors/batts/esc/bearings etc
