Bodies

Anyone hear anything or know what the chances are for bodies coming out? I mean if I want to run a supra body on my skyline I don't wanna shell out 50 for another starter kit. I would also be nice so you could have 1 "basher" body and 1 show one..

I don't think it will happen, at least from RS.

SpEd I believe they will come out with other boddies but I also believe it will be after Xmas they want as many people as they can get to buy more then just one to get different cars. I tried putting the Supra on my RSX Chasis and noticed it didnt fit at that point I didnt think they would make extra boddies but I got to looking closer and the front clip that attaches the body to the chasis says the name of the car on it cause its specific and they also have 3 screws on the rear to stretch the chasis to fit bigger molds on it so to sum it up I say it is very likely but it will def be after xmas.

I have the skyline and supra and the bodies are not interchangeable. The skyline body will almost fit on the supra chasis, but the back peg doesnt come down all the way. the supra body doesnt even come close to fitting on the skyline chasis though

that's cuz you gotta swap the front tab with it. each tab has a name of the car body on it. swap taht with the body and it'll be completely interchangeable

So....None of the bodies will fit the RSX?

nope, rsx is the smallest body. its my favorite too.

its just the drive shaft. if you look at the rsx its in the middle slot so if you had a longer drive shaft you could let it get a bit longer and use any body. you just have to remember about the drive shaft and tab for the short bodies

for new bodys they will just have to package a drive shaft and a plastic tab with the actual body for it to fit any xmod

eventually bodies will come seperately from the kit but dont count on it b4 x-mas.

there are plans to make more bodies, THERE ARE NO BODIES BEING THOUGHT OF ATM if anyone told you they were going to make a *insert car name here* body, they lied.
