AWD worth it?
I just wanted to know if the AWD kit is worth the $14.99? I mean does it make the car go any faster? Also does the RSX go fast right out of the box?

Sorry I am asking so many questions but, what exactly does the bearing kit do? Also do the springs actually do anything? Does it make the car run smooth over bumps?

from what i've read the bearings increase acceleration, top speed, and run times. win win win situation. and the springs are different stiffness, i plan on getting hard so when i drive out side i dont scrape my bottom up on every thing

Geez! It looks like I am going to be spending alot of money this week. I am just going to buy the RSX and the body kit. I will eventually get the other upgrades later on. I dont want to burn a big hole in my wallet.

Yes the AWD is worth the 14.99 it wont make the car go faster but helps with traction. The AWD kit was made for grip style racing. I have made the car drift nice with out the AWD. I have not yet installed the AWD but I dont think the car will drift with the AWD, maybe just go sideways a bit. I have been driving the car stock and getting used to the handleing. I have gotten real good at drifting the corners and shooting out of them for the straightaway, but I will be trying the AWD soon.

on my 2wd skyline i can drift on lynoleum. i start the turn and hit the brakes real fast. the cars back end starts sliding around more. this might jsut be understear thought from the weight going forward and the back wheels getting lighter

Hmmmmm...another question. Will the RSX scrape the ground easily with the body kit. For example if I drive my RSX with the body kit on the street will the body kit get scratched?

If that is true, then I will use my mild body kit for driving out side and use the "wild" body kit for the inside. Hmmm that should do the work.

YES, well depending on how "rocky" your street is. Both my bodykits are completely destroyed by rocks and other foreign object lying out on the streets/sidewalks.
lucky me i went back to the RS and bought the last bodykit for my rsx, but this time the new bodykits are strictly for show/indoor use only.

I would say that it depends what your road is made off. Some streets are vary smoth other vary bumpy. You would have to try it and see what it does. The spring upgrade should not help keep your car from hitting the road but help in the way the car handles.

Why don't you do what I used to with my 1/10 cars way back. Cut you a piece of foam rubber, shape it to the contour of the front, and attach it to the front with 2 sided tape or something like that. You can cut just enough to cover the bottom, just enough to make contact with any rocks. You can even make it look like an air dam or part of the body kit.
This will catch and push or throw any rocks away from your car.

good idea but the bodykit on the rsx is so low you can barely fit two pieces of paper under it. Though that trick will work with the stock bumpers...

i put about 3 layers of clear tape on the front of my skyline already but i never drove it yet..i need to more batteries ...but from how it feels it seems like it can't take the much of a beating...im gonna try duck tape next...might not look good while im racing but for show..i'll have the cleanest car when i take it off
i have the 4-wheel drive installed and everything i just need batteries!!
