Lug (Metal) nuts

Just wondering-anyone tried metal nuts yet? Just need to know the size. I noticed Micro RS4 ones fit, so I'll see if they carry those at Hobbytown.

they really fit? sweet, i felt like i partially stripped one of the plastic lug nuts

i've got a few xtra lug nuts if u need one soon. good thing is that you don't live too far so u could pick it up or i could snail mail it to you if u want.

thanks for the offer, but i bought the foam tire kit last nite (man, it was hard getting the tire on to the double sided tape on teh wheel) and it gave me 4 extra

You get 12 extra in the rims kit.

I got the foam tires and I don't really like em.

yea..i think they are for tarmac racing or really good paved street...thats what they are for on 1/10th scale cars..

I got the foam tires in hopes of better grip on carpet but I'm getting better results from the sticky treads.

where can i get the Micro RS4 nuts? didn't see them at towerhobbies unless i missed it and my Hobbytown didn't have them. would any of the nuts available at home depot happen to fit?

i dint get the foam tires b/c i think the rims to use are ugly...U-G-L-Y

I liked the rims that come with the foam tires. The design is the xmods X.

that's fine and dandy but i got them in hopes of having better grip on carpet. i could care less about the wheels cuz they aren't the greatest (i like symetrical designes like the other wheels, not this big X that only looks correct if u turn it to the right angle) but wut coudl i do, i already put the foam on the wheel. maybe if i really liked this kit i would get another and mount it on one of their other wheels but truthfully, all i get are burnouts/peelouts wiht these foam tires
