plans?

ok, so i have seen that there are several of us that now have an xmod... what i want to know is, what are you going to do with it now that you hae seen what it can do?

i just cant stop thinking about dropping 2 more AAA batts in it. i have some little battery boxes i toreoff one of those crappy mini-z cars off ebay.... i really think i can plop on on top of the chassis. im just afraid ill fry the thing.

also, (just a side note) does anyone know what that funny little white plug on the top is for? i would guess it would be for the light set, because it looks just like the plug on the top of the ses... but in the users manual, it shows the lights plugging in totaly different.

plans?....

I think I'll start by figuring out what the circut board is like. If it can take a mosfet mod like a mini-z than I'm all over that.
A stack of high output fets will keep it from burning up when I put in some sick audly or tamiya motor.
I just like the fact that it's going to use a standard motor that already has so much support and variations already.
If they don't have a bearing kit, I'll order the things individualy if I have to.
I'll upgrade any wiring, and see if there's an easy way to use a dean's connector on the motor....
Then it's a matter of making it as light as possible. I think they still make slot car bodies in 1/24th scale out of lexan, right?
should be pretty sick fast at that point, and that's not even with an extra cell.
Then it's a matter of going to the indoor rc track and see if anyone else is interested in a race.

I've been collecting 1/24 and 1/25 scale cars for years, and I'll find something really sick that will fit. I think I've got a VW camper van somewhere.

they do have a bearing kit sounds like it could be pretty involed to install, but what bearing kit is? (remebers looking at a tamiya hilux transmission instruciton sheet to install bearings btw i bought the hilux and radio for 10 bucks, sold it on ebay for 400) hmmm... is there 'real' radio equip in there? or is it some RS semi propo deal(i wanna get involed in park flyers...) I definetly am gonna get a Lanver Evo on mine, if in lexan all the better... and of course awd, slighty raised supensesion, the foam tires, maybe miniz wheels and tires(if they are better) hmmmmm..... cant wait.........
