i was making my car a dual cell today. i did eveything right. i soldered the wires on the extra battery. I didnt want to make it pemanent so instead of soldering the wire to the battery that was in the car i just used duct tape to get it to stay and just put the othere wire between the duct taped side and the terminal. i then charged it on my modified controler. when i took it off it wouldnt run so i put on the charger and ran i while it was on the charger when suddenly the wire became unsoldered but the car kept going(it was on the charger. i took out and disconected both batteries and it still ran while it was on the charger yet when i put in the battery and took it of the charger it wouldnt run(after i charged it). My car is meesed up and will run only on the charger with or without a battery. i even made sure nothing was connecting the terminals. Can anyone help me?
I feel your pain and heres what you should check: battery contacts in car, the solder around the ground and other make sure that there is no solder touching another wire and thats all I know.
im stupid. nbut i still cant figure out why it wont run....all the cables are conected
