Convertable Firebird
I've been waiting for this body to come out just for this project. This is just a quick preview, there is a lot of work to do still like triming the edges and cleaning up, painting the interior and the car itself. I might just leave it silver and touch up the edges.
Again, work in progress...

Looks really good! Nice and clean.
I take it it's not an SE?
Body sits too low so it can't have lights inside.

Thanks. It's more like around $1000-1300. I have over 40 starter kits, numerous tuner and body kits, tire kits, 6 carrying cases, plus many parts, etc.

Thanks guys! Any of the members here cars would have beat that guys entries.
I was trying to find a color that was a little different to paint the Savanna, but I may just go with some normal color. Hopefully, if I get the time, I will finish it up the week.

I couldn't have beat you!
I just got my first ZipZap a few days ago...An SE...I love it!
I'm going to paint my FC3S Metallic Silver and Black...
But I'd love to see a glossy metallic dark blue...
That would look awesome!
Your Firbird is awesome....
I just love your work, man.

I was originally going to make the 2002 Camaro the convertable too, but when I saw both bodies, I thought the Firebird would look better. The Camaro is a little too "smooshed" and wouldn't have looked right IMO.

I've got some good news and some bad news...
The good news first. I'm almost done with the convertable Firebird.
The bad news. I've been promising my wife I would do a car for her, a convertable at that. (You know where this is leading.) Well, she saw this car and was like "Whooo, that's purty!". Next thing I know she claims it. Then she's like "I want a custom paint job." Pick the color. "I want shiny wheels like yours." Bling Bling installed. "I want the fastest motor." OK.
So all that's left is to wait for the paint to dry...
To Be Continued...
