Angry Poor runtimes?

I have a ZZ SE Efini. With the lights on my trueno bodies plugged in and with the NX motor and blue gears, i get like 45 secs- 1 min full throttle and turning...what gives? Is there a higher mah battery we can use for this car? I know the dimensions are different and it has 2.4v

Replace your controller batteries, or double charge it.

Hmmm... Mine runs pretty long. Must be a difference in PCB or something.

I have noticed a small drop off in run time, but I still get a good 4 minutes on one charge running green gears and 28k motor and lights on. I'd say that's pretty good still.

Yep I would check the controlers batterys 1st, also make sure you getting a good charge. You may also want to run the car with out a bodys and lights and see if the same thing happens. I get long run times with my SE but everything is stock in them. I have to double charge my regular zz to get a decent runtime but thats cuz its old (note to self get a few 200mAH batts.). If all else fails you may want to get return it and get another one.

btw what kinda runtimes do you get with your efini body with and without lights? You may have a short with the trueno PCB's lighting.
