Knuckle Question......

I'm taking the rear ZZ hubs off the axle and want to mount them on Tomy knuckles. When I finally get the Tomy hubs off the knuckles and fit the ZZ hubs, the pin (front axle) is too short.
Now should I cut down the ZZ hubs or find something longer for the pin?
What is an easy method for removing the pins from the knuckles?
Is there an easy way?

Thanx

what i do is put the knuckle or wheel in a vice (carefully!) and get some pliers and pull on them until it comes apart

I hold the knuckle in my fingers. Then i use ridged pliers and grab the pin and twist and pull it out. Easy as pie, and its the only way that ever worked for me. I spent 2 hours on other methods that got me nowhere. Then i pulled them out in 15 seconds.

Clown, i would kick you out for posting such a HORRIBLE picture. The car is like 2% of the picture. All i can see is that it has a clear body.

you can use webshots if you want.
put this url http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/ infront of your webshots url.
if the webshots url is

www.webshots.com/djfahfhdhalkjlfsdfdl
and you try and post a picture it wont work
but if you put http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/ infront so the url is now

http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/www...hdhalkjlfsdfdl
it will work.

the easiest way i've found to get the wheels off is with a screw driver you ther it between the wheel and knuckle and use it like a lever, slowly add more pressure and the wheel slides right off

hahaah
You need good pliers, i couldnt do it with my pliers, but when i got my friend's pliers with ridges about 1mm or 2mm deep, they were perfect. I squeezed as hard as i could on the pin, and just twisted and pulled. It came right out.

I tried using micro s2000's method of putting two screwdrivers inbetween the knuckle and wheel to pry them apart, and i couldnt do it. It was just distorting the knuckles.
