charging batteries
i was wondering whats the equation in threrory to find out how long to charge say a 1700mah batt at 480mA

Divide the capacity (1700mAH) by the charge rate (480mA). Take the quotient and add 20% to it (this is allowance for inconsistencies). The result is how long in hours you need to charge.
So, 1700/480 = 3.54 + 20% = 3.89 (you can round that out to 4 hours).
...If you MUST be a stickler 3.89 = 3hrs. 53min. 24sec.

lol my charger for my AA's charges at 480mA for only 15min

correction it dosnt specify that those were just specs i got off the web for a diff charger my bad
