Where Can I Get Decals?

anybody know where I can get custom or any kind of decals? anyone have a water slide decal set that would be willing to make some for me (I would pay you, of course)?

The starter pack - One sheet of white, One sheet clear decal paper plus the sealant spray.

If you want to buy more sheets seperately or the sealant seperately, then go to their product search and search for decals.

Note that almost all printers don't print white (Alps printer does, but its discontinued)

so how does this water slide decal stuff work? you just print out your decals on the paper, cut out the thing you want, spray the stuff on and stick it on your bit? Is there anywhere that I can print from a website or somethin since I'm not so good with making my own

No, after you print the decal paper you must IMMEDIATELY spray the decal fixative on it.

BTW micromark will ship the fixative spray so you don't have to go look for the Krylon one, plus some craft stores put their sprays behind a glass shelf and you must be 18 in order to get a hold of the spray cans etc. there (well, my craft store at least).

so you have to stick the decals on right after you spray the stuff on or once you spray the stuff on you just let it dry and the back becomes like a regular sticker?

Haven't you ever built models (cars, planes) before?
these are decals just like you get in those model kits.

you have to dip them in water to slide them of the paper backing.

the acryllic spray just makes it harder for the decals to rub off.

actually, no I haven't ever had a model plane or any other models

. so if anyone has time, explain to me the steps you need to take with these decals like I was an 8 year old

Hmmmm...

you are continuously confused. I suggest you keep away from making your own decals so you waste the paper if you screw up. Maybe you can get cheap model kits with decals e.g. airplanes. Learn how to stick the decals properly because every decal counts !!!.

But I'll explain the steps slowly since you are probably one of those people whose budget never limits them to doing something.

Create the decal sheet (Using a professional image editor can greatly make use of the decal sheet such as squeezing as many decals as you can onto one sheet of paper).
There are probably specific instructions on how to set the printer to print the decal paper such as the paper type, so set it.
Print.
Immediately after printing, spray a coat of the decal fixative onto the decal paper.
Spray a few more coats onto the decal paper.

To use the decal paper, use a knife (scissors if you are limited to your kitchen knife) and cut out the decal you want.
Soak the decal in water.
When the decal starts to float away from the water, use tweezers or a flat and thin object to scoop it out and carefully place it on the surface u want the decal to be on.
Don't forget to spray a finish coat (not the decal fixative) on the model after you are done decalling and touching it up.
