Today I got a 1:10 scale Team Losi XXX-S Sport RTR

JR Radio system....GM ESC...Dynamyte Vision Peak Charger & a pair of Epic 3000 NiMhs cost near $350! Thankfully I had $100 already...a 10% off cupon...My dad paying for the transmitter (about 130 of the RTR cost) because he may want to use it too for an R/C glider project & him advanceing my megar allowance 10 weeks (lol)

We adjusted the diffs...charged my AAs & NiMh 3000s & we took her out for 5 min (we had more battery but it got wayyy to dark & we could barley see the thing

1st though FAST! That thing was hauling some serious ass! I could do controlled drifts just like that! Very responsive & fast car. Big upgrade from a Nikko 1:18th buggy

Anyone know any forums for 1:10 Team Losi's & any 1:10 General forums?

id have gotten a skyline. but u r entitled to ur own opinion. what happened to the Micro RS4?

I figued a nice 1:10 would be easier to run around my area

Micro Rs4 racing isn't as big at my hobby shop as 1:10 is.

A skyline is a possibility when time come & I have to get a new body. They had no Skyline RTRs. I got the Losi because it came with a JR radio & a GM Speed Control

Plus I'd still be assmebling my Micro if I got one

i have the team losi xxx-spec its so sweet. goes pretty fast but my micro rs4 goes as fast as it.

Today took it for a run....Lost control & hit a curb....lmao

Only thing that happened was the battery pack slid out & the body started to rub on the wheels....Just had to put the battery back in & tweak the body a bit then was back up & running til.....My damned JR Radio is way to picky about my battery voltage & started beeping when the voltage dropped to 8.9 (from 10.8...4 1.5 volts & 4 1.2 volts) I can't emphasize hom much I hate waiting for AAs to charge without yelling. I have a 4 aa slow charger (why the **** do they even make those!?) Eventually I'm getting a 8 AA holder & soldering a Tamiya plug to it so I can use my 4 amp Peak charger on those sh!ts. If they fry....I know why lol

Tomorrow is another day...Another day means more racing....If those AAs charge

ahhh a stratus............gotta love a stratus too bad its not the new body stratus........they have teh new body 4-door at my lhs...if i had a 1/10 anymore it would be mine and silver (2g2silverstrat) go figure

I don't want a 4 door...My next body (a while...atleast til after I pay this guy off & get a 1 hour AA charger & some more GP AA 2000s) will be a Mustang....I figured I'd be stuck with it for a while so I took looks into consideration...I think it looks pretty cool...Will post WAY better pic tomorrow (at the time the good cam's batts were charging....lmao!)

BTW why don't you got a 1/10th anymore? Did you have to sell it cause you needed the cash or did you just have a bad area to run it...Mine is a lot of fun...just gotta shake out the rocks after a run. I actually found a screw lodged in the gap between the motor & the chassis after my 1st few min of running. It wasn't a car screw because of the size but it looked like a stray from when the took the skirts off of next-door's vacant mobile home. Weird

Tomorrow will be fun...Fully charged transmitter batts...same with car & 4 of my 8 AA's are done charging. Maybe if theres enough popularity I'll start up a 1/10th scale forum. That should be the next step in the Tiny/MiniZ/Your Micro forum family

BTW: Anyone know where to get Xtals cheap? I know Draconcious's Mini Z site has em cheap but will they work w/a JR XR2?...Damn! Only if I had the XR3...lol

well i sold all 3 of my 1/10's and my micro....cus when we moved houses the street now gets almost as much traffic as an interstate........... nope thats a stratus most popular body in 1/10 scale....its in real life the 1995-2000 body style.....the 2001-2004 4 door was recently released and teh reason i commented was cus i own and drive a 2002 4 door silver stratus......and love it more then all my previous full scale tuned cars....have fun in 1/10 if you have the room to run them
