ZipZaps.com now open

zipzaps.com finally took down their silly flash page and put up the real site. Now if only the people working on microsizers.com would replace the "under construction" pages.

The ZipZaps site has a speed calculator: pick a motor and a gear and it'll show RPM, scale MPH, and Feet Per Second. Interestingly, the color of the motor and gear don't have to match.

Too bad they don't show what speed Motor you're choosing nor the Gear Ratio of the gear being picked.

Someone had posted a while back that ZZs would initially be offered only at RS, but in other stores later; well, this is from the ZZ site:

ZipZaps.com is an Internet property of RadioShack Corporation.

So...I'm guessing that they aren't going to be at other stores?

What's to stop others from releasing them and calling them ZipZappers? or ZipZips, or ZingZong or even...HO Char-G?

Yeah! I like 'HO Char-G' !!!
