Pro vs. Other Bit Char G?
hi guys,
I'm a total newb to Bit Char G. (not to RC though)
I'm looking to buy a microsizer from tiny RC but I see that there's one that 29.98 right now (non-pro?) and the pro version is 19.99
Does the pro version not come with a controller or something?
Please help!

the original (30 dollars) come with everything you need, plus an extremely fast, 34,000 rev/(?) motor. you want that motor, trust me
however... the $20 pro comes with everything you need, an extra body, as well as the boost function. basically, it's slower unboosted, but when you press (and hold) the boost button, you get the same speed as a normal microsizer, but with more torque. boost is great during races, where you need to deal with sharp turns as well as long straights.
my opinion would be to get the original MS, single speed, bundled with the motor, cuz it gives you a nice introduction to micro RC, as well as a motor that's tons faster than what can be found in hobby stores.
(if anyone has the current/voltage numbers on boost vs normal, help out and correct me )
*note: both sets come with a controller ^__^

the difference between "pro" and the normal one is that the "pro' comes with a boost button and the normal one doesnt. The boost thing makes the car go slower than normal, than when u hit the button, it will go faster(regular speed). And the pro does come with everything u need including the controller

well, I really dont want to contradict pie, but I'd rather get a PRO, because although the boost button does take some getting used to, you can always buy a faster motor, wheras, if you get the normal one you'd have to get an entire new starter set for a boost function. Then again its just a matter of opinion, so after hereing mine and pies suggestions you can choose what yyou want to get.

well heres my words of opinion,.,,, we all started out not knowing which to get. so your gonna choose one in the beginning and i bet you will buy atleast 3 more in less then 2 months i ve had the pro and the normal and even the sport microsizer......i hate quote "i hate" the pro. i would get the normal one but i can get you a normal one for around 17.00 about 21.00 shipped then you can spend whater else to get a faster motor later once you get used to the one it comes with which is plenty fast enough to start out with. numerounostunna@msn.com the only normal ones i can get are both impreza's,red lancer, yellow s2000,and a white skyline.

like I said, its a matter of opinion, some people like pro's and some people hate 'em. I'd see if theres a hobby shop near you that'll let you demo them both

hmm, getting a pro and just buying the formula 34 at the same time would cost almost the same...maybe a couple dollars more. I'd say it's worth getting a pro.

Yeah, what cowfish said. The pro might take a little more skill to drive but once you get good at it it is much better.

heres my 2 centz: 2-speed pros stock can beat a sport single speed stock. drop a 3.4 in both and the 2 speed would win cause you got more wheel RPM. the sport is better to start with o that you can first get used to the car. then upgrade to a 2 speed.
