whats the dif between nicd and nimh

*edit* cause i have one of each but i dont wanna do the dual cell at this moment

*edit* for the dual cell do you have to have 2 of the same kind cause i did a crappy dual cell to check it out and one was nicd and other was nimh but it didnt affect speed so im just curious and i'll wait till i can order the layman battery

nimh stands for nickel metal hydride and nicd stands for nickel cadmuim, the nimh batts usually have a bit more mah and they have no memory effect. This means u can charge a nimh batt without fully discharging it first and u wont ruin the battery. But if u do that to a Nicd batt it will get messed up. For a duall cell u should use the exact same cells. And they shouldb be fully discharged b4 u charge them together for the first time.
