Soldering iron accident (serious)
I could'nt believe this when it hapened.
I was in my garage the other night, as usual, and apearently some time while i was getting a sunkist to keep myself awake the soldering gun fell of my desk .
I know what your think'n " His Garage Burned down" Thank god it didn't because my dad got a mini cooper s that day. Back to the story.
Well I sat down getting back to work on my dodge viper custom made body and one of my friends showed up. so i got up to run up to my front door and "sizzle" I had stepped on my soldering iron at 845 degrees. What a stupid thing to do. I had a blister/bubble rounder than a jumbo permenant marker. well it was late and i did'nt want to go to the ER , so i just went to bed. The next day I went to the docter and he sent me to a sergent. The sergent had to "perform surgery" on my foot. It hurt like hell.
I was thinking how much did they pay that nurse to say "You won't even feel it".
So right now i am sitting with my foot on a table typing somthing about myself that nobody will read.
So now my modo is:
"Only YOU can prevent soldering burns"

Flesh heals Plastic Doesn't :(
Well, I was soldering then I put down my Soldering iron and since my PLug outlet was under the table the solder slid off the table and I caught it b4 IT HIT THE CARPET!!! but then when I sighed in relief as I put it on the table It slipped a lil and I thought Whew!. 2 seconds later, I was working hard and then I smelt BURNING then I noticed I melted a hole in the side window of my First Bit Shell Accord wagon... now we are no longer the Accord wagon Brothers, we're the Lancer Evolution brothers.... ...I bought myself a lancer evolution clone which has a spoiler to scale... I gotta post a pick sometime...long Story short, Your blister shall heal but my Clone Wagon won't

Well, it's better to have you foot burned than burn a MINI Cooper S. My life would be over if my dad killed his Cooper S in some way. But dude, that thing about your foot sucks. Get well soon!

This, friends, is why I always solder in the kitchen and NEVER leave it plugged in, even if I go across the room to get a sunkist

this my friends is a bad concequence that will happen when soldering some time in you're life. just too bad it was such a big one. i've had lots of smaller burns on hands and stuff but nothing as big as steping on one. one accident that still lingers in my memory is when i was soldering in shorts and a nice big glob landed on my leg just above my knee. it sat there for about a second as i put down the gun (yelling and swearing) before i could brush it off, it was still molten as i was trying to wipe it off with my fingers so it sorta just spred around into a little line of hot solder. then it hardened and sorta peeled off as i was flicking and scratching at it. there was only a relitivelly small blister left from it.
