Lightbulb Different Grades of 3.0 motors

Does anyone notice there maybe different grades of motors?
I have two 3.0 motors from two different sources. They deliver different speeds. The 3.0 motors have significant shade of red. Also the plastic cap is different. My theory is that the darker the color of the motor, the better the grade. Therefore higher performance. This goes true for my friend's 2.6.

The endcap colors are insignificant - it's just a coincidence; with motors this size, it's hard to get identical quality with each one, occasionally you get a really good one.

Question

There are two holes in the left motor cap. It has a weak red color.
That one runs slower than a 2.6. The other motor is bright red. VERY FAST.
