proportional steering
I am sorry if you are reading this to see how to do propo. but i despiretly need help by the end of fathers day.
My dad realy likes me moding and stuff, but he won't buy one unless it's propo.
I'm planning on buying him 1 4 father's day and i need some good ones for less than 50$

$50 or less thats gonna be tough, radio shack has the 1/43 corvette that is proportional I have the viper and it is ok, not as good as the epoch spec 2's I have but it is fun and fast.
The only other choice I know of that is close is the "1/60th PUCHI MARU" $59.95 at stormer hobbies.It is fully propotional.I dont have one of these yet but I plan on picking up a couple soon.

Theres an I-Racer -$20...Propo...
If you look hard enough you can get a Digi Q off the net for $45-50 but I'm assuming you want it tomorrow www.kidrobot.com has good deals on Digi Qs

Makes me think his dad is a stickler for 'Proportional', which the IRacer and the DigiQ are not.
True propo means the front wheels have to steer, the iRacer and DigiQ don't do that.
Though they're not bad suggestions.

I think my dad will like the i-racer since it's a mini.
He is in love with mini coopers and so am i.
does anyone know if they make a mini cooper body for microsizer or char-g?

But there are Digi Qs with turning front wheels
Namuna: If he was a true stickler fro propo wouldn't he be against the corvette since it has 5-stages of turning which simulates propo?
I saw somewhere that said Digi Qs had stages too but there were a whole ton of them so its like 90% propo.
Iracer are truely propo though (in terms of steering) It doesn't need turning front wheels. It works truely propo & I'm stickin to it. I don't care if you go get a dictionary & it says must have turning front wheels. I'D THINK HE MEANS BIT PROPO NOT CAR PROPO

I have the Red Mini iRacer, if you're a fan of the Mini Coop you won't be dissapointed. Here's some pics I took of mine:

There are no official Mini Coop shells for the Bits/MS, but I believe you might be able to find knock-offs/clones with the Bodies (the pictures I've seen of them, they seem less than impressive though)

um a couple of questions, how fast r these iracers? faster than a stock bit? and im pretty sure theyre not moddable right. Are they as good or even better than a digi???

They were gonna make a BCG Mini Cooper but BMW wanted too much $ for the licencing
