Controller Joysticks

Hey Guys,

A friend of mine and I have designed and cast some joysticks for the controllers on the BitChar-g/Microsizer. I was wondering if there is an interest for having these. We havent set a price yet but were thinking around twelve dollars. These would be molded in the same color as you controller as you can see from the picture. Let me know what you think.

Babykiller,

Ive actually built and cast that piece out of clear resin. Its all one piece and not a knob attached to the original paddle. These pieces would actually replace the paddles in your controller. So if you factor in mold cost($35) and resin cost(about $2 per pair) you'll see where I get my cost.

Once agian for everyone out there, these are actually replacements for your original paddles not knobs you attach to them.

Thinking I havent replied to my message enough I tjought another would be great......

Just to let everyone know were still kicking around the price and thats the reason for the post. Were looking for opinions on pricing, what people think woul be fair?
Were still flexible and trying to work out costs(molds, resin etc.) so let us know were very interested in opions even if they arent positive(helps make our products better)

Were also thinkig about a line of bodies some real cars(70 Cuda is half finished) and others(cartoon cars with faces and hotwheel like original designs).

Ill post a pic of the Cuda a little later....

Anyway let us know what you think and thanks.

i think if u make a new thread wiht a poll to see how many ppl would actually buy a pair, then u'd know how well the demand is. if demand is high, i say between 5 bucks and 10 bucks plus a buck or two to cover shipping in a heavily padded envelope. if very few ppl say they woudl buy one, then 10 to 12 bucks seem reasonable for a "limited production" thingie

that's not a bad idea although i rather have the led placed in already but wiht wire leads coming out so i can light them up anyway i want and not have to replace a coin battery once in a while

if u want to have a good deal make it liek 8 bucks with shipping or 10 dollars with shipping and a free engine...it may cost u 35 for the mold but thats a one time price and u only pay 2 for resin for the mold so 8 and free shipping would be good
