Nearly didn't go back to work today...

Just popped home for lunch as usual and my order just turned up for some parts, so nearly stayed to upgrade my x instead of going back to work.

Well at least I know what I am going to be doing tonight:

Ball races all round
Can bearing install
Carbon brushes to break install and run in (ne ideas (Water?))
Solder up extra cell on to 5 cell pack
Solder 6 cells together for spare battery

May need spare battery as accidently charged the stock in 4 minutes flat! Used a cheap quick charger for 1/10th! seems not too bad and have fully discharged and slow charged a few times since.

Supposed to be moving house tommorow, yeah like thats gonna happen

OK, first of all WOW!!

That does make it quicker with those ball races and last longer. Its alot heavier now especially with that extra cell. seriously affecting handling though.

Whoooops!

Accidentaly punched straight through the precision bearing for the motor can, DOH!! Eventualy got it in place but can is a bit stretched and bent. Will replace with bearing can later.

Carbon brushes were not in as bad a condition as I had thought so left them out for spares. This car flies now!

Have a mate with a fully tricked up Mini Z, all I need is a flat clear space to beat him, sorry err race.
