Im making a phast motor icon right now i have the basic layout in AI now putting it inot photoshop and doing some stuff to it

PS: I couldnt find the phast motors font so i made the P with the pen tool in adobe illustrator

i made load of icons, primarily for zz people, but a few of the mod icons can be used for bits i guess. a few of them arent changed at all and most were based on QFM icons. heres the link to all 50+ of them:

i would try saving the icon as a jpg, because gifs are only 256 colors.

theres always tradeoffs... if you want quality you go for tiff. if you want quality with little size ya go jpg or gif. if you want to have transparency you go with gif. either way you shouldnt be able to tell very much difference with a gif and jpg at those small sizes provided you select the correct pallets...

the only problem is i cant find a good full featured program for gifs, so jpegs are my best bet becuase of the 16bit color. all my progs only do the basic gif stuff

check out coffey cup software. i know they have a gif creation program full of flash goodies..and other cool things.. and you can run it in demo mode.. or trial version what ever they calll it...
