Post Zip-Zap with Ground FX Lights

Put Neon Geen Lights on the bottom of my Nissan 350Z Zip-Zap. Wasn't easy to fit but I've Included Pictures for others to try. This is a great Mod for display cars. I mounted my mini-switch in the back window, but you guys could probaly find a better place for it.

All the parts stick to the inside of the body with double-sided tape. The battery (a 3-Volt watch battery, Radioshack Lithium 23-268) is clipped in with a standard telephone wireclip.

The best thing about this Mod is that it's completely confined to the body, so you can change it to other cars quickly.

Thanks guys.

it would be so freaking cool to just go wild with leds and add as many as you can find inside of a pt cruiser shell. it will glow all blue and look sweet. hahaha.

I threw away the box at work and put the LEDs in my tool kit, but I looked on the radio shack web site and the only assorted 20 pack was part # 276-1622 so I guess that's it.

The 5MM LEDs don't fit between the chassis and body, but in the forward wheel-well and behind the rear bumper. The wires are curved 90 degrees so the LEDs are aimed straight down. The only hard part is pushing the front ones in close enough so they don't interfer with the steering.

Hmmmm... You've got me thinking of a unmarked police car Mod now.

Maybe I'll rig that into my Fast and the Furious Maxda RX-7.
