fad?

I was checkin the competition (MRCC) & I crossed somthing I discussed a LONG time ago back at the very beggining of my got BITS? days. IS this really a fad. To me its not. I discovered MRC's in October of 2002. I've been addicted since. My dad thinks I'm tossing my money but he said "oh well, atleast you don't smoke plastic" Well my plastic currently smokes with my 3.4 Nitrous Express (NOT NOS) motor. I have 2 cars right now. I remember when the "thought they were cool rapper kids" got into these a little after I did. They kept saying there "was no NOS motor". Well only the actually cool rap/sorta rock kid in that group even knows I exist, we are good friends & drive are Zips like mad. I can honesty claim to wanting this kinda thing since I was 4. I told my mom "I wish I had a remote control for these hot wheels...that way I could have a funner time racing them" Trust me if these were out when I was a little kid then I'd have one of every frequency known. In a way this is like mini skateboards. There were a lot of fadders (aka ***gers) & there are the stayers (like us who are currently here now. Us who paid the high prices & were there when the prices drop & will probably be here until they quit making these cars & all of them break. I feel proud not to be a ***ger & to be a Mini R/C person. I've loved racing & cars for as long as I remember & have tons of witnesses. Thanks ~DJ

So you're gotBITS? Ok, I don't care anymore. The reason I was so rude then is because I was going through some very rough times [I've got LOTS of enimies] and I thought that you were trying to be one by the that swearing-off in the Misc. forums and other things.

Just to name a few of my enimies: Jean Creatien, the George Bush JR. [because of IRAQ], flashers, hippies, and MRCC.

Gald I'm not on that list. My list is basically the same but are you talkin about male gender flashers? *discusted shiver* I added Namuna but hes slowly sinking down the list & is on his way to the neutral side. Mine includes Elton John, Avril Lavene *SP?* & La Resistance (watch WWE Raw on TNN or TSN for Canadians)

I mean male flashers. Her last name [Avril] has a g in it.

yea well, i got into bits when i first read about them in superstreet in about april of last year. They had 2 just sitting on a CD and i was like "oh ****! i need one of those." so i emailed tomy and they were like "contact the US tomy" and i did and they said they were only avalible for inport. That bummed me out because i have never really mailorder or e shopped before. I got it though and it was really fun to play with stock for a while. Then i found Tiny RC hehehehehe. Thats when i got really hooked.

i just happened to pick up an import racer magazine(i dont even have a car, i still dont know why i got it lol) and there was an article on bitchargs. it looked so cool. at the time nothing were in the states. then i started seeing zipzaps ads on tv and stuff. i got a crapload of things for christmas to start me out, but it was about my only present but i was happy. i got a 27mhz civic starter, fnf tuner, fnf body kit, tire kit, tool kit, carry case, porsche body set, and stuff. best present ever got! well, as far as i remember! lol. my mom blames herself for the reason i go around tearing apart everything with electronics in them looking for batteries or switches

My wife bought me my first one for Christmas, and I have been hooked every since. I have noticed that they don't fly off of the shelves like they did after Christmas, but I think they are as popular as ever.

I saw my first Bit Char-G at Pacific Mall in June 2002. It took me a month to decide which set, and in August I got a Silver Supra. I misplaced that one and, in my travels to Chicago in September, I got a Lancer. In December I got the AM set. In January I got my first Zip Zap Civic and F and F Tuner. March saw another Zip Zap, carry case, and a few bodies. April saw a Hino Blue Ribbon. May saw an LXX 360-now AE86. And June will see a Zip Supra+the new Tuner Kit.
