Removed my 5th cell...

I noticed several things about my car lately that I didn't like.

1. Bent axles from jumping too high and missing my landing ramp.
Also from running on un-eaven surfaces and hitting the lip too
hard and fast.

2. The need to feather my throttle too much, or I will spin out at
around 14mph.

3. Speed vs. space was imbalanced.

4. Steering twitch at rest, and occasionally while running but very
very seldom.

Bottom line is that I am very anal about my car and the little things like tweaked axles, twitching, and tracking problems from too much power, finally got on my nerves. I think I am going to stick with a 4 cell car from now on. Scale 430mph is really not too bad for a passenger car eh? 5 cell was fun, but I feel like it was too much work racing, and keeping the car running perfect for that matter. I think there's a reason they made the car with just enough room for 1 extra cell in the battery compartment.

I ordered new motor case with diff. and a new front knuckle/tie rod set so my wheels don't wobble from bent axles anymore.

I never did a 5 cell myself or a 4 cell for that matter yet... but the reasons you just gave are enough NOT to do it. I like things simple, a 4 cell is a definite in the near future though. You know it's time to do a 4 cell upgrade when your 2 cell ZZ blows your epochs doors in!
