AOL SmarterChild
This is actually a COOL feature of using AOL IM Chat (as hard to believe as that sounds).
AOL has a bot called 'SmarterChild' you just add the name to your buddy list and start talking to it. It automatically responds to you, that in and of itself is cool...
But the really cool thing is that it has 'tools'. like if you type 'spell spakcle' it would return a bunch of spellings. It also tells you the weather, news, stocks all kinds of cool stuff.
Only thing that sucks is the bot is only free for a limited time, then it's $10 a year to keep it.

yah YIM(yahoo instant messenger) has this this thing called magic crystal ball and you can ask it questions and it talks to itself too. and its free
