First DigiQ car for me - Audi TT :)

Hi all... I have quite a few Bit Char-G type mini r/c cars, but have been very curious about these DigiQ cars. So, I hunted this one down on eBay:

...and bought it yesterday. It's on a UPS truck now somewhere in the eastern US and should get to me early next week. From what I have read, these cars are awesome. Does the IR vs RC control ever become an issue for anyone? I guess you always have to have "line of sight" to your car to make it go. I guess they are dual motor, dual cell, and much better all-around maufacured than all of the other mini r/c cars. Is this true? Where can you get upgrade parts for these cars? (if any)

Well, Just thought I would poke myhead into this forum to say "hi". Now I am just waiting for that darn UPS truck to come rumbling up my hill. Yeah! =D

welcome to the DigiQ section of tinyRC. The IR is alot diff from RC i think mostly because of the small delay that some people have when driving. For me i got used to it within the first couple minutes of driving the car. Some make a big deal but it is easy to get used too. I am real tired right now so i will answer more in the morn.
