Real PHAST MOTORS - Buyer Beware

RCmod.com has exclusive rights to sell the PHAST MOTORS product and they have a lengthy contract. noone else has those rights (at this time). : )

if you buy a PHAST MOTOR from anywhere but www.RCmod.com you are probably getting a fake. PM is a brand new company and has signed a deal with RCmod to retain exclusive rights for a set period of time. it would be like buying a Formula34 or Rspec motor from somewhere other than TinyRC. Go Tiny!

BUYER BEWARE. Just because someone took the logo off of the RCmod.com website or the Phast Motors website and are saying their motor is a PHAST MOTOR brand, doesn't make it so.

PHAST MOTORS have destinctive packaging. I will post a pic of the REAL Phast Motors after work today. don't be fooled by cheap imitations.

they're supposed to rock perfections... but then, i dunno... they claim 3.8 and higher speed and ultimate torque... which is what lots of motors claim =\

i guess consider them the new 4.0 with torque..?

how do you make judgement on the speed of a motor if you have never seen one? i call them a 6.5 with mediocre torque.

ok no disrespect to rcmod im sure they are legit.

i know this guy who sells 8.6 motors and i hear that they enable your car to go to the fridge and get you a beer and have 800ft/lbs of torque. i read this on another rc car site where this guy posted that his second cousin's friend had one of them and he said it was real neat.

you guys are to much. haha

let me set the record straight about the Phast Motors for all you inquiring minds here.

i think the motors are about equal to a 3.6, could be better but i'm guessing off watching it take off. the torque however, seemed ridculiously high for such a high speed motor. so now not only do you get a good speed, but you get a quick take-off boost. great for the straightaway sections of the track.

RCmod is sending Namuna a few test motors and he's going to do his speed and incline test on them. then we can all see the exact speed and torque of the motors. the company Phast Motors is gearing up like perfection and coming out with all types of products.

i personally have seen the Phast Motors brand motor do some crazy informal torque tests and i was sold. one test was: two cars head2head. both Shens with full throttle going. one with a pink endbell 3.8 and one with the PM motor. the PM motor didn't hesitate to push the 3.8 right off the table! now, i know a 3.8 doesn't have much torque so this test should be based on pure speed ratio vs. speed ratio, but the PM motor seemed to have about the same speed, but with a tremendous amount of torque.

this test hasn't been done against a perfection 3.8 and the test is very informal, but i'm just relaying what i saw with my own eyes.

i will post more as i find it out. i do personally highly recommend the motors. and you guys know i know what i'm talking about.

I was checking out the LXX Type-R cars at Toy East, and they say the cars can be upgraded with King 4.2 motors. Has anybody found these anywhere yet?
