I broke Some wires inside controller.....can i use another type of wire???

I was trying to fix my remote to see what was going on and i ended up breaking the black and red wires that connect to the battery. What type of wire can i use to replace these........i need to replace them because i broke them a couple of time before and now they are to short to solder on. Can i use another type of wire to replace them??????

sure i did, just use a wire close to the same thickness and you should be fine

Yeah i found a nice thinck wire which had multiple copper wires inside. I took one of the wires and put some shrink wrap around it. I'm going to go and solder it on right now.

i replaced all the wires in my controller with 26 guage stranded wire......
