you could try using kit racer gears...all though you may have to do a li'l modding to fit them...

pretty good

k these are my thoughts:
-i use all season in the back but slicks in the front
-dual cell (They're nice lol)...maybe even a switchable one.
-use green gears (the 9.86:1) quicker acceleration and more torque(kinda)

1 question...how that 3.8 treatin ya? is it nice or to little torque?

My set-up:

2-speed circuit board from an LXX char-g
Civic body lowered in front
Super torquer clone motor
Squishy Grippy wide clone 'drag-slicks' on the rear
All season on front
3 nimh cells in the belly
ZZ antenna with 65 foot range in the church gym
Blue gears
Gold rims
antenna support tube in rear window
10mph

I have been very content with this set-up.

sounds good deoblehc
3 cell in the belly? i bet you flipped the PCB because no room?

My setup:
-stock zz PCB
-lowered in front and back gold civic
-NEW motor (WAY more torque)
-green gears (9.86:1)
-best stabilizer bar in front (want springs )
-27 mhz
-all season tires in back
-racing slicks in the front
-reduced weight
-few more mods

My other 350z setup:

almost the same except have the zz racing motor

Sounds like yer doing okay there.
I transplanted a MicroSizer 8.25:1 gearset onto my pokey stock rear first thing.
I did a Cat 5 antenna on mine, and used MicroSizer slicks all around.
I hate Zip Zap tires.
(They do provide that new car smell though!)

Yeah, flipping the PCB is a must for the 3 and 4 cell cars. You can cut the PCB cover to accomidate the protrusions, though. It will work well that way.

I was just thinking of that. i think i am going to flip the PCB, do a dual or triple cell sleeper mod, and cut the PCB cover so i can still keep parts of it clean. But i have qualms about the PCB cover. If i seriously mess it up will i be able to buy a new zz pcb cover?

I doubt it, but I'll see if I have one for you that's already cut. Don't cut yours until you hear from me on this thread.

I dunno i dont really like using tape for a PCB cover cause i always break wires off the PCB and for me that sux. i think i will just try cutting a PCB cover or buy a test zz. Dont know about you chelboed and the rest of you guys but everyweekend (or at least i try) i ride my bike down to the local RS and look to see if they have any new stuff. I'll just pickup another zz while im down there. You guys need anything there or at safeway????.....perhaps some cat litter?!
