quick Question for those of you with Microsizers and Shen Qi Weis
The stock motor in a Microsizer is a 2.2 right? Whats the stock motor of a shen Qi Wei clone? Is it like a 3.0 because my Shen smokes a MS. Also does anyone have a motor guide? Like one that shows the colors of each motor? Thanx!

Every Shen I've seen online comes with a 2.6, but my friend got one from the mall that had a 2.8.

i can put the same motor in both cars and the shen is faster and quieter. but, i think like with most things, each one will respond different.

..i only have 1 shen and the motor that it came with sucked prob.just a bad motor!some 2.2 are faster than others..the 2.2 that came with my fair.Z is faster than any of my other 2.2's...

I have two MS and 5 Shens. The two MS have 2.2's, but the new MS "Sport" have 1.6's (heard they are pretty torquey.)
My Shens are faster than my MS's and the Shen motors are very torquey, so it is not just about rpm's (2.2 vs. whatever Shen motors are rated at.)
If you look at the Shen motor vs the MS motor, I believe you will notice that the Shen motor is slightly bigger in diameter, perhaps as a testiment of the torque produced. My 4 Precious's seem the have the same speed and torque as the Shen's (though I have not tested this.)

I've got 1 Shen and 1 ms. My shen SMOKES! my ms but now my MS even has a 3.8 and Shen a stock motor. Yet on a 20' 7" drag strip (1/4 mi scale). I know 3.8s don't have much torqe but dam my shen still beats it by a LONG shot and its a BRAND new 3.8. I think it might have something to do with the gears because they are different on my MS than my Shen (no not just color)

ive seen about 7 tomy motors. one "1.6" four or five "2.2s" and a "2.6"
all but one are a total waste of metal and plastic. they are horribly slow and dont have much torque.
i have at least 10 clone motors that all crush tomy motors in top end and torque.
the one tomy 2.2 that came with my friends mach5 is about as good as most clone motors.

ive got 3 all shens one has a  in it one is stock motor and zz turbo gears and one is a dual stock motor all 3 smoke my friends microsizers and zips every day
