Question Microsizer Pro vs. LXX booster

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the full specs on either of the two Mini RC's: Microsizer Pro / LXX Booster Modellista. Which is faster, which turns better, part interchangeability, which is faster in it's '2nd' gear? I've got an LXX Booster on the way from Ebay, but wouldn't mind making a run to the border to ToysRUS (Canada ToysRUS doesn't carry microsizers - I know it's sad!). Any input would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Well if it's fast and has excellent steering, what could be bad about it? The LXX booster that is... And yeah even though Canada doesn't have microsizers in their ToysRUS', I only live 7 minutes from the US border ;-)

the bad thing about the booster is that it sometimes turns off when you turn and stuff

so overall is the MS sports better than the LXX? they both got booster buttons and so now it goes down to performance. which car performs better power wise? which one performs better dual/tri cell wise?

Hey, Chelboed here. (user cp is messed)

I just bought an LXX AM and a MS Pro. My findings?

Motor's: Lxx came with a 3.0 (not 3.8) and I love it very much. It is very torque'y and has good top end. It doesn't drag down either, so you can let off the gas and roll a bit before stopping. This motor is my favorite.

MS came with a 2.2BLahhh... (good thing it's changeable)

Power of the car itself: Lxx wasn't bad, but MS Pro was hotter!

Steering: Lxx adequate / MS Pro slightly less than perfect.

Gears: Lxx SUXSUXSUX noisy / MS Pro good ol' quiet bit gears

Tires: Lxx had some 'supa-wide rears' that I really like. MS Pretty average.

Fit and Finish: Lxx SUX Paint is chipping and chassis seems cheesy. MS Pretty good, but I'd like to have a little more detailed body. Chassis is very solid.

If you're used to clones, you will like the LXX. If you're used to bit's, the LXX will be a dissapointment and eventually a parts car. I WAYWAY prefer the MS Pro.

What motor does a LXX booster come with? I like my Pro a lot. The 2.2 that came with it is like a K.I.T. 2.2. Other people have gotten the same. Steering is good, but the gears bind a little bit.

It comes with an OEM 3.0 - but it doesn't perform like most 3.0s

If you buy it from toyeast, you can get it with a perfection 3.8 which is a pretty solid motor. Good speed, good torque.

I've found the MS/Tomy boosters to be of much higher quality than the LXX. Steering is less of a gamble with the MS/Tomy.
One really big selling point on the MS/Tomy cars versus the LXX is how they handle multi-cells. A dual MS/Tomy car FLIES compared to a dualed LXX. There actually isn't even a comparison between the two when you dual cell them both.
