FINALLY! After several attempts at painting I've finished my black Skyline! I'm so happy.
First attempt: Bought Testor's model paint kit (cars?). Used a nail polish remover bath on a yellow Bensu skyline. Used too much paint and attempted to wipe it off w/ a TISSUE. BIG MISTAKE! Tissue sticks to paint!
Second attempt: Used more nail polish remover.. horrified to find that Bensu bodies dissolve into a mass of rubber goo when left in nail polish remover. BIG MISTAKE! Cheap plastic cannot survive nail polish remover!
Third attempt: Used PINE-SOL bath to remove silver/blue paint from ShenQiWei gloria (scrub w/ a soft toothbrush). Mixed a cup of Testor's silver and black paint... result silver w/ black splotch car. UGLY! BIG MISTAKE! Silver does not mix with other colors!
Fourth/Fifth attempt: Used PINE-SOL bath to remove white/red paint from ShenQiWei skyline. Gave the body a coat of gloss black, gave the body another coat of gloss back, gave the body the final coat of gloss black. Dabbed some flat black onto the rear tail lights with a toothpick. Dabbed some silver onto the door handles, exhaust thing, and side rear view mirrors with a toothpick. Painted the front head lights white. Made a little grill thing with 5 staples, painted silver.
Body's now sitting on a SQW 45hz chassis (picture might mislead you

.
In the future...
Pen tip exhaust? (Maybe I should have thought about it before I painted the car!)
Drop the front tab for lowered effect.

Paint rims? (Maybe... I'll play around w/ photoshop.)
I'll add more pictures when I take them! All the rear shots turned out super blurry.
