n00b - saying "hi"
Hi all... I am new to the mini rc scene, but have three cars already, and two more in the mail. One of the ones in the mail is an LXX Special Castrol Edition Skyline (silver) with 3.0 motor stock. Ordered two 3.8 motors (and 160nmh batteries to go along with them), also. I am just kinda wondering now where the best place to order nice custom wheels and tires from is? I ordered the cars and parts from www.mini-rc-car-sales.com. I wasn't sure about their wheel upgrades though, thought maybe there were some cooler ones around. Oh well. Chat with ya later. peace....

doh!!! sorry folks. www.mini-rc-car-sale.com (no s). That should work.
BTW - I just put my 2.6 motor in the Z and it FLIES!! wow... The 3.0 has got to be crazy. It already does lots of doughnuts on my hardwood floors. Woooo!! heh... I had some trouble at first with the gears locking up so the motor would not turn over. I seemed to have solved it with some tape, using that to push the motor little forward in the bay. Anyone else have that happen??
Looking forward to getting the Lxx Char-G and 3.8 motor for it, very soon!!

toyeast.com has better prices but it probally comes out to be the same after shipping.

wow... I got my stuff today, well, one box of it. Here's my new addition to the coolection, a Hummer Jeep by P-digi. It's ok quality. I think the Shen is the best so far. I am going to slap that 3.8 in my Panther!
