I know it's a grip, but it's well worth it. It adds another 15 - 25 % more speed. Makes runs smoother too. Less wear and tear on the Axles.

micromotori, can you list the bearing requirements, we're working with BOCA Bearings to develop kits for each tiny RC.

for the SP, it is 3x6 mm flanged. I don't know about the X4's. I think they're the same.

NO,

The x-4 does not use ANY flange bearings. I think there are two different sizes. One of them (I think the 2 for the drive shaft are the same as the front wheels on a Mini Z)

Just finished putting together my X4.
front diff: 3x6 unflanged
rear diff: 3x6 unflanged
front knuckle arms: 3x6 unflanged, 4 total
center shaft: 2x6 unflanged, 2 total
rear shaft: 3x6 unflanged, 2 total
front shaft: 3x6 unflanged, 2 total

Yes, I'd like to know too. cause the ABC bearings cost pretty steep IMO.

I also hope TRC will also carry more ABC DTM SP stock and mod-up parts and not just the car kit itself. I'm very interested in this car, but I don't want to invest in a r/c car whose parts are hard to find and expensive.

why not just buy then without a all in one kit. Buy then indiv some times its cheaper. I never buy compete bearing kits anymore.

Usually it's more expensive to put your own set together. We're skipping BOCA at this point as the prices they gave us were insane. We're going directly to the factories now, BOCA just resells foreign-made bearings. We'll keep you posted.

It's more expensive if you buy the bearings from the hobby store with the ABC brand, or the BOCA brand or whatever brand. I ppicked up the phone book and found the local distributor of nothing but bearings. They told me they would have to order them in(since they are so small), but that it would only cost me around $15. (yes, for all 7)

Not really tiny, it does seem so, but I done this for years. ANd I get a few extras when the a few bearsing goes bad. It just depends on how much people value money.
