There have been NO memo's in recalling Xmods. If there were a recall I'd announce it here and on the Xmods Yahoo Group.

Untill then THERE IS NO RECALL!!!

Xmods are like us. We have flaws in some of us and so do they. Nothing made by humans will be perfect.

If cj says there's no recall, then there aint one. I think this kid or the RS manager he spoke to is full of the stinky stuff.

I'll have to disagree on this one. I've only seen 4 xmods and none of them have proven to have brittle plastic parts and the electronics have taken some pretty hard jolts as well and are still working fine.

Well, I guess if you havnt seen any problems with your Xmod then they dont exist!!!

I on the other hand have a practically new supra that has a cracked front bearing holder and a front spindle lower kingpin that has a crack running up it.This was not caused by rough driving or mishandling it is simply the plastic is to thin and/or brittle.

I am looking very closely at my supra parts since I'm using it to help me make a chassis.(it's torn down right now)

My RSX runs fine I havnt noticed any cracked/broken parts but it did have a steering problem after lightly hitting a carpeted cat toy.The steering stopped working altogether so I tore it down and fixed it, its fine now.

My RSX is set to run and only has a few mods
(body kit,AWD,bearings and a carbon fiber center shaft)

I wonder if I'll be able to make a diff for these out of aluminum some day.(I doubt it)

Do get me wrong I like the Xmods and I wont return mine even if they do recall them, which I doubt they will.

My skyline has the (BC EDIT: Word removed) range problem. I'd like to take it back too.

some radioshacks will, and some wont... some managers take them back no questions, and some dont take them at all , and some give you a Load of probs

hmm... im greatly considering returning my skyline for a new one, i loved it when i got it, but now the suspensions all screwwed up, the ball diff is super sloppy, my car practically revs in neutral around turns, and now i have a wheelbase problem where my chassis wont fit togethter unless i make it too short to fit in the body. you think theil notice a missing mirror?

hey colin i think i know what your problem is. when you put the car back together did you put the back motor mount on backwards? it should angle toward the motor.

my first time taking the car apart i did this and realized it and fixed it
