Question Replace internal battery

Greetings >>>

Does anyone know if Radio Shack sells the NiMH-type battery inside the car? I think I fried mine by leaving it on charge for 25 minutes the other day. Lost some serious power. I've read some postings about battery mods, but I can't remember if they were for Microsizers only or ZipZaps.

tnx

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I stopped by RS after work and found zipzilch. I did find this, though: Batteries America for R/C Hobby

They sell a 150mAh replacement. Not bad, I guess, but if Tiny has a 160, then...hey!

if you want to get more speed (a LOT more) but will sacrifice about 1/2 or so runtime then try the laymans dual or tri cell mod. i did that to my 350z and its crazy fast. i have a wing on the bottom and when i turn at full speed the tires roll over and clump up on the wheel. it has THAT much torque

Pulling off wheels

I have a silver 350z and with the NOS 3.4 motor and the 8.25:1 gears I have pulled off the back tire on a turn before. I flip it all the time too.

Batteries America

Batteries America is ok, but they charge you $7.00 for shipping no matter what you get!!!!.........I called to get one Ni-Mh and thats what they told me........I also got some from a private person on evil-bay........the memory was depleted on all 4 cells....they work only when connected to my charger......from now on I'm buying from Tiny!!!!!

Another option is the 200mah batts from Toyeast. They are the same size as the standard zz batt so replacement is easy and you get minimum double run time.
