got my first micro rc =D

after searching all over for one I finally got my first micro rc, its a shen but from what I read its still good

these are the only micros they sell around where I live so I had to settle, anyways im loving it so much. Im actually quite impress with these things, doing a little bit of testing I got an average of 17mins run time

, but stink thing is the range is not very good, im getting about 15 feet. Might be becoz its running in the kitchen, but oh well still good.

Anyways what a some good mods for a shen? I was looking at some bit mods which I thought was quite similar but are actually quite different. Things like adding head lights, removing capictor on car, on controller etc... dont work. So anyone recommend some other good ones? Also where can I get some new batteries? pref. an australian site or something? trying to do dual cell mod

welcome to the boards....

i'd suggest u to get a new motor from here or rcmod and if ur good at soldering try a cat5 antenna or a duall cell.

yeah I want to get a new motor, tyres etc...

but down here in NZ they dont sell any of them! I was lucky enough to pick up a shen

your prolly not going to get any of them because here in L.A (im at my aunts house) they dont sell much unless u really feel like exploring. I preferably suggest buying all your needs on-line. Anyone know where to buy those bags of batteries (pack of 8-1000) of 150 mah batteries for cheap? its like www.nickle something. com and i dont kno. and 8 pack is only 13 bux pretty cheap cuz they r in bulk.
