Proud owner...
I am now a proud owner of a mini x.
Its great, so small and yet so perfectly formed. I am now losing the front left dog bone and will fit a spring. Have tweeked the camber (front and rear) so the handling is much improved, only spins when you want it to!!
Need to get ball races all round and maybe try the softer set of springs.
Those dyed chasis look cool! what is the dye you use?
I am as you can see in England, i need to find near-ish supplier (europe would do). It is so expensive to import from the states. Ne ideas??
I used to be well into slot racers, the Tamiya 1/32. We used to re-form chasis and bodies, drill gears and chasis, and mod motors. We used to double wind armatures and they would burn out standard brushes and the bushes!! oversized comms are good to try hmmmm where did i put my old jig???
Anyway I am so glad I bought this car and not a mini z, i wasn't tempted even for a bit, they are toys.
I look forward reading and replying to your posts
