Bit stopped working after replacement
I just decided to change the nicd batt from my 27mhz NSX-A and I accidentally broke off the right steering wire from the pcb. I soldered it back carefully and didn't see any bridges or anything of the sort. When I put the stuff back together, it didn't respond. It charges, but doesn't go. I've checked everything. Can someone help?

nope, not that iether. Well, I guess it would be hard for you guys to figure out the problem, because there must be hundreds of possibilities. Thanx for trying. If anybody can still help me, though, please do.

when you were fixing it your front steering magnet could have become lose and fell out blocking the front wheels and causing the car not to go. if you back wheels aren't spinning, maybe when you closed the car back up you broke off another wire. i've done that twice before.

rexdale_hacka! The problem maybe the way you put the battery in, It may be that you put the batt. in the wrong way so just reverse the batt. and it should start working.

bjv, that was the second thing i checked, so no, it's not that. I gave the bit to my friend to examine, a good electrician, and if he doesn't get it, i will look for loose wires, ib311. Thnx for your replies.

Rex! Just contact the MS site. They'll send one chassis ready to run free of charge just email them with your problem and then you'll get a new chassis.

No problem man all you got to tell them is that my bit/Ms stopped working and I think it has to do with the batt. After all it does have to do with the batt.

My bit is a bit char-g and they ask for a fcc id #. It's supposed to be on the bottom of the car, but it's not there. Would any 27 mhz id werk? If so, can someone tell me theirs.
**Edit**Never mind, got it from someone already.
