ABC DTM (x4) Motor Hop Up

As i have said before im Electric RC Stoooopid... I am wondering what larger (or better) motors fit the x4 and do i need better batteries to use them?
What exactly is the difference in motors and batteries?

Sorry for the stupid newbie questions but i dont know much about electric RC cars at all...

The only electric one ive owned is the "new bright" one i am using the body off of! Its the kind where it automatically drives in reverse (turning at same time) but when you pull trigger it goes forward!!

And lastly... i have seen cool videos of the rc cars ROARIN round tracks and drifting corners... can these tiny puppies do that too??

Thanks for letting me annoy you!!!!

Let's see...........

The best motor to get is either the HPI mod motor that is 180 size or the GPM High Speed or High Torque motors. They are 180 size too.

As far as batteries, I would stick with NiCd's. They don't last very long but provide superior low end grunt. NiMh's just don't drain fast enough in high current operations.

The NiMh cells are 110mah 1/3 AA size, you need 6 for a 7.2volts.
