Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here. I'm not trying to offend y'all, but...
I can't get a Bit or a MS to go over 5 mph without it veering off to one side, spinning out, or flipping. I can make my Zip Zap go 11 mph. I made a Bit go 10 mph one time, but the only way it would go straight at high speed was if I put the steering knuckles, steering arm, and big front wheels from my Zip Zap on it. Kinda say's something about the Zap front end, eh?
Sure stock you can probably beat a Zap with a bit, but the new generation Zap is faster than it used to be. Besides, you can fit 4 cells IN THE BELLY of a Zap. That's enormous speed with a low center of gravity for cornering. I had a Bit Char-g booster set and ripped the PCB out of it to put it in my 4cell Zap.
I know this sounds like a broken record to those of you whom have read my posts about this, but I'm sick of you guy's dogging the Zap when I can easily and repeatedly build one to smoke any Bit I have ever seen.
Sorry 'bout the tone of that last phrase. I'm not angry, or trying to start anything. I think if your wires come loose, re-solder them. That sounds like your problem with the car not working.
