Question What to get?.....Please look

Ok I am looking to buy some more bits and was wondering if I should buy the G-25 TOMY BIT CHAR-G MODELLISTA + 3.8 MOTOR with BOOST which I do not own a boost car yet. $24.99 plus $12.00 shipping.

Or Four Mini RC Car Four Diff Freq with FREE Batteries and I think they are Bensui or Panther brand. Waiting back on the seller to determin that. $15.95 plus $12.00 shipping.

I already have a dual cell and one sweet custom car, I just can not decide wether to get the 4 clones to make more mods out of or to just get the Tomy MODELLISTA set with boost and just run the perfection 3.8 motor with it and keep it a single cell..

id get 4 clones for 10bucks less. unless they are one of the really crappy brands.

at worst you get 4 steering springs and 4 pcbs with better range than bits. then you can buy a microsizer a week for the next month and have 4 bits with great range.

"thor and thunder racing" = horrible
"super racing" = pretty bad/once in a while you get a good one
"precious" = pretty good
"cyclona" = reliable and pretty good
"shens" = pretty good

these are what ive seen first hand. even the crappy ones are useful for pcb swaps and they usually have good motors and batteries.

So going with the BOOST feature is not worth it? I should just get some more clones to use for parts and maybe mod a few out? I just heard the BOOST feature was pretty cool, but what do I know I have never owned one.

This is a TOMY BIT CHAR-G MODELLISTA kit with a perfection 3.8 motor..Not a Microsizer, I know there the same thing more or less but my other Tomy has great reception with a cat 5 antenna on it.

well if you really must have those bodies(they do look sweet) then go for am set. you will stretch your buck further by getting 4 clones for less money. either way you will satisfy the monster.

Yes the bodies are sweet and I get 4 of them with the Modellista set. Here is the link to the Auction on the 4 clones, Take a look and tell me what you think.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...126357265&rd=1

And below is the link to the Tomy Set
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...127073650&rd=1

Also the CLONES say this..."Receive 8 FREE AA batteries with a purchase!"

Now that's not bad!!

IM TELLING YOU MAN GET THE CLONES.

at worst you get some cool bodies and a butt load of parts which really come in handy sometimes. theres also some decent looking clones at toysrus for 12 each.

So are the clones shown in the picture any good? I think I can read something like Bensu or something on the remote. I emailed the seller asking him what type of cars they are. I only have used shens to this point and they have all pretty much worked well except one had some steering issues do to the soft spring.

Also the clones in the auction come with batts for all cars..

K.....I really like the bodies on the Modellista set but I think the clones will do just fine and give me some extra steering springs which I could use on my dual cell..

extra batts to. they usually come with better than the tomy batts btw. and the motors in those things crush anything that tomy makes.
