I've burnt out a lot of motors

but never burnt out a Perfection. So I am not sure why I would ever need to contact toyeast about a problem. I have 10 cars all running Perfection 3.8s. Even the LXX clones can run them, although they are not as fast as real bits. Other motors require more juice than the LXX can provide. This is just my experience.

I gotta chime in on the perfection, I haven't had one burn out yet and 6 cars are running 3.8s. I did burn out a bit char-g motors 3.8 in about a weeks worth of usage time. I don't have a rspec or any other 3.8s and I really don't need them.

my .02

On the one hand you get a motor for $11+shipping from TinyRC or some other stateside vendor. You have problems with it (like I have had) and email them. They are very undertstandable (like Tiny) and replace it. Heck this even happens 2X's (like it has to me) and it still gets replaced (thanks Tiny) . You can even offset the cost by buying more stuff at once and justify the shipping cost. Like I did when I got my 1st Perfection bundled with a Gloria and a couple of 160Nimh batteries. It just depends on how you look at it. I have bought several things from both Toyeast and Tiny, it's very easy to deal wit stateside vendors; thye understand and repalce defective products. On the other hand, buying from Toyeast hasn't resulted in any bad motors. I've got3 right now and two more on the way. When purchasing from Toyeast or any other Eastern vendor, put in a big enough order and make the shiping cost worth your while . When you get a set bundled with a Perfection motor, the motor ends up only costing @ $3 w/o shipping being factored in. I am sure all who have bought from Toyeast already thought of this . Anyway, off my soap box I go. Have fun racing
